Walk With Us: Seasonal Salve-Making On the Land
Join Indigenous Plant Practitioners Jenny Fisher and Darcy Fisher for a land-based immersion in herbal medicine-making, food sharing, and ancestral connection. This intimate gathering invites you to slow down and experience healing in the round: through plant, touch, taste, story, and soil.
What You'll Experience:
Foraging + Infusion: Learn how to identify, harvest, and honor seasonal plants with deep medicinal value. Discover our family’s method for crafting powerful herbal-infused oils.
Hands-On Salve Making: With guidance, you’ll blend your own hand-poured herbal salve using oils, beeswax, and ancestral preparation techniques. Yours to take home.
Land-Based Meal: Enjoy a build-your-own bison burger station (or elk/bison mix) with fresh buns, lettuce, tomato, pickle, cheese, and condiments—plus sparkling beverages, green salad, chips, and a sweet treat inspired by seasonal fruit like chokecherry or huckleberry.
Seasonal Teachings + Storytelling: We’ll share teachings, dreams, and reflections passed down through generations, rooted in Indigenous Ecological Knowledge.
Food Notes:
All meals are prepared with care. Sparkling water, juice, and multiple drink options will be provided. If you have allergies or dietary restrictions, please let us know upon registration.
This event is meat-based, though vegetarian sides may be available.
What’s Included:
Guided harvesting + plant education
All salve-making materials
A jar of your handmade salve
A nourishing lunch + sweet treat
Seasonal storytelling
Connection and community on the land

After purchase, you’ll be notified first when your session date is released. You may choose your preferred date from available options.
This class takes place outdoors, off-grid, and among the plants we’ll be working with. There are no public restrooms, and participants must arrange their own transportation. Please dress for weather and uneven terrain.
Gathering size is intentionally limited.
We create a meaningful and spacious learning environment by capping each offering to a small group of participants. This ensures a deeper connection to the land, to one another, and to the teachings being shared.

Want to bring your team or community? We offer custom sessions for schools, companies, wellness retreats, or visiting delegations.
Email us at info@kotstek.com with your request and we'll begin planning something special.
