Walk through a complete year learning to live in rhythm with the land the way our ancestors did.

This 12-month journey teaches ancestral plant knowledge, seasonal ceremony, and traditional skills with Ktunaxa knowledge keepers Darcy and Jenny Fisher on ʔamakis Ktunaxa (Ktunaxa territory).

WHAT YOU'LL EXPERIENCE:

  • 12 monthly weekend gatherings (October 2025 - September 2026) near Cranbrook and Invermere, BC

  • Hands-on learning: medicine-making, food preservation, hide tanning, cordage, ancestral technologies

  • Monthly online circles for integration and community connection

  • All materials, supplies, and shared meals included

  • Walking Through the Seasons book (our published guide to these teachings)

  • Complete medicine bundle you create throughout the year

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN:

Each season brings distinct teachings—tree wisdom and resin medicine in winter, root harvesting and blossom work in spring, earth baking and berry preservation in summer, gratitude ceremonies and seed saving in autumn. You'll leave with practical skills, ceremonial practice, and relationship with the land that sustains you year-round.
